Adult Learner Information

 

Whether you need to start at the beginning, or just need to improve yourEnglish, Blue Ridge Literacy Council can help you learn English to speak, read and write better.

	Classes and books are free.
	You will have your own tutor or join a group of 4 to 6 people at your same level.
	Student and instructor meet two times each week for 1.5 hours.
	Evening or daytime classes are available.
	Emphasis is on learning the English you need in your life.

	Call us at 696-3811 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Monday through Friday
	Come to the office from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Monday through Friday (click for directions)
	Evenings by appointment.

 

We will tell you about the program and answer all your questions. Then we will ask you to come back in and see us again. This time we will give you a short English test to determine the best materials and tutor from you. Then we will locate a tutor and you will be able to begin your classes.
