How YOU Can Help

Make a Donation

You can donate your time and that is always a welcome commodity at the Literacy Council. But the reality is that any business, non-profit, or otherwise, needs funds to operate. We are no exception. We have operating expenses just like everyone else. The difference is that one hundred percent of all monetary donations made to the Literacy Council will be used to fund our program. Rest assured that any money you donate will be used for such things as purchasing curriculum books or buying flashcards for those who have learning challenges. We need tape players to help new English speakers learn to pronounce these words that roll of our own tongues so easily. We are always looking to purchase additional library books geared to our new adult readers. (westerns and love stories are especially popular!). The list of needs is long.

Learning to read, write and speak English takes all kinds of resources that sometimes only money can buy. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to donate financially. Choose the method which suits you best.
